How much damage do weapons deal?

Has anyone recorded the damage of each weapon fired from different distances?

How much damage do default Desert Eagles (or other weapons) deal to the head/torso/legs from close/mid and long range when fired from above, straight at or from below the target?

It would be insanely helpful to know this data, perhaps it would make balancing easier. How wo

Nope. It doesn't take in account the fact that the first shot never has a delay on it. Meaning that for e.g. Ruger the optimal time-to-kill difference is 0.75 seconds or 1.5 seconds. This has a major impact on the maximum potential of weapons.

sweet...  8)   ;D balance and making higher quality mods easyly and quickly is why SWF was made. Hope it helps. but what exactly were you think of? did you have any one weapon or idea in mind?

Unfortunately it's impossible to make the Ruger kill in exactly 2 shots due to Soldat's physics and the amount of factors involved. Bullets lose speed as they travel to simulate drag and gravity, and the player's velocity is added to the bullet's muzzle velocity. The bullet's speed when it hits a target s multiplied with a constant damage multiplier for the final damage. Headshots do an additiona 15% damage, and leg shots deal 11% less damage
