BitCoin has been around and in use long enough for people to know that it isn't a scam.

BitCoin "mining" (using GPU power to generate new coins) nowadays isn't done that often I don't think as much of them have already been mined.

Thanks. Yeah I think it's probably not lucrative for people without supercomputers, and I didn't realize it's been around..

Don't think of it as a way of making money. That use for it ended years ago.

Think of it as another kind of currency, in addition to dollars, pounds, and euros, except it isn't in physical form and isn't traceable. That's really all it is.
