Modding Crimson Glory
« on: August 26, 2006, 08:06:23 am »
First off, yes I know its not been released yet.

Okay. MM said that all the 3D models will eventually be in DeleD. But what programs can I use that:
Are easy to use
Free
Has loads of tutorials

I'd like to start practising making models now so I can do somethign reasonable when its released.
I've heard of GIMP but that looks confusing. I'unno.
Any ideas?

I know, honestly. I can't wait to play the game. I don't even know how to mod anything, as long as I get to play, I'm happy. :)

GIMP isn't good for 3D, only for skinning the planes (if they are skinnable)
A good 3D modeler is IMO Blender
Here is the only guide you will need to become a pro :P

krill, of course they'll be skinnable, they're models.  Of course, I highly doubt many of you folks know anything about the UV process.
