CTF_MountainBase

Okay, this is a Capture the flag map. Okay, so, it has three mountains. In the middle moutain, there are a bunch of tunnels. In the right mountain, are the blue spawn points and the blue flag (all in a few tunnels) in the left mountain, are the red spaw points and the red flag (all in a few tunnels). The middle mountain is the biggest, the right and left mountains are around the same size.
It is fully waypointed.
Not much scenery was used.

Please rate my map in anyway you want. I am always open for advice, especially when it is specific.

Overview

For locations of spawn points and flags, please take this link: http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/7523/mountainbaseoverviewbm8.png

Any of the scenery in this map came from one of the following places:
Soldat v 1.3.1
Special Ops 2
Mecha Soldat 2.3

p.s. This is the first map I am putting up for download, but not the first map I have made.

you knwo those six buttons above the arrow keys? theres a button that says Prt Scr above the Insert Key, press that to take a godo quality Screenshot, then put it on paint, save it then go to a picture hoster liek imageshack or Photobucket and put it on there, then, take the Url from the picture and put it here, thats it.

Okay, thanks. I figured it out, and I modified my first post to include a pic.

i like the shape, idea etc, but it looks too 2D, maybe you should add some shades?

When I saw that overview this immediately came to mind (yes, all grammatically jarbled exactly like this :P):

stretch the textures add more colors

And add more scenery, and change the background; it's too dark-blue all the way. Make the bottom color super-dark and the upper color very light-blue/-turqoise.

Okay, thanks for you advice. I changed the background color and I have shaded it.  I alos added a little more scenery (very little)

I can't really think of what kinds of scenery would be good in something like this. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Also, I don't know where to add more colors. Suggestions would be appreciated.

The BG is better, but I feel it's too blue, too... defined. You want to make it more ambiguous instead of solid and flat. Lower the saturation and make it more blue-gray.

As for extra colors, I really can't advise anything more without radically changing the vertex positions of the polygons which compose the base of the mountains. But stretch some textures while you're at it.

Scenery? Crates, barrels, obstacles (yes, literally obstacle.bmp, etc.), rubble, sandbags... all that good stuff which can apply to nearly any map ;)
