Not at all my best work, but I wanted to for once enter an SML contest. And not for that SML post automation bollocks.

EXCELLENT.
Shau is probably my favorite default map.
Nice job, I like how you made everything bigger, even if that was unintentional.
Nice scenery usage and shading. :)

Great job trying to keep the author's name a secret.

Your jungle scenery method is so unique, it's hard to even try to hide who made this map.

(This would be the coolest INF evar, using the same flag placements rambo_6 used in inf_shau)

Aw, the ledge on the right isn't as steep. :( And no deathpits?! C'mon, man. Who doesn't love MM's spikepits? :D

But yeah, to be honest, they were cool, but I personally feel your inflated bushes are getting a bit old. :P (How ironic, considering I first suggested that kind of jungle style to you! xD) Nice, smooth remix, tho', especially the texturework.

Actually Keron, I agree that the bushes are getting old. I've been trying to mave away from that style, and into more desolate, but decorative maps (Monolith, Haunted).

As for the map, there still are death pits in the valley area, but I forgot the one on the mountain. And E_A, If I'm not mistaken, I put flag spawns in so it would work if you recompiled it as an inf map.

Thanks everyone else :D

It's not bad, but you should have kept the hill on the far right steep like in the original, and the tunnels are kind of wide.

Yes it's pretty horrible, you realized that. It's too hard to move around and the tunnels are just stupid. The proportions are all wrong too.

Bash, WTF? Constructive criticism man, may seem a bit harsh because i'm pretty much the only one here that gives other feedback than "it's nice". Not picking you, I'm just as direct with others' maps.

Alright that was a little harsh, though.

The reasons i dont like it is because your style just doesn't fit shau, you made everything bigger and wider and it just seems malformed, the ground is weridly shaped and hard to move on compared to the original. I'd rated it more comprehensively for the contest, i thought you'd read my rating there but seems SML ate the rating. besides you said yourself you think it's sub-par.

Great work, love it.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.
