Body Damage?
« on: September 24, 2006, 12:28:37 am »
Okay while I was playing R/S I noticed that the bodies fly when they are hit by explosives. What If your hit by a body while walking what would happen if it did atleast 2 damage from the hit. So what do you think?

Colliding bodies could become very tedious. It may even prevent you from getting multiple kills with the saw, since you won't be able to run through people properly. I don't like the idea.

That alone is enough to end this argument, and that is still omitting the fact that corpses are rendered client-side to avoid the lag they cause. Allowing them to collide with people would cause them to have to be rendered by the server, causing the aforementioned lag.
Sorry, but I don't support this.

And we all know how much lag Soldat already has... ::)

Therefore, locked. If you really think there's still a chance that Marcinkowski may reprogram corpses to be rendered by servers to implement this, PM me and I'll unlock it.
