I love Infiltration.  In one game, I had two amazing LAW shots withing five minutes of each other.  The first was 153m; the second was 160m.  I managed to get a screenshot of the second one.

BTW, what's the longest LAW shot ever? Has someone gotten a longer one than this?

EDIT: I didn't get a screenshot of the 153m kill was because it completely caught me off guard.  I launched the rocket, then an enemy came, so I whipped out the ruger and took him out.  All of the sudden the screen said Double Kill.  It surprised me, so I checked the kills list to see if maybe my ruger shot had gone through and hit someone else.  I saw the LAW next to my name, thought "Holy ****!", then glanced at the distance.  By the time I went for the print screen key (it's tricky on a laptop), the distance had disappeared.

Ah, but was there skill involved, as jettlarue stated? I once smashed an off-screen spraying Minigunner with a LAW purely from calculating the location of his bullets' trajectories.

Nice, tho'. That probably is the longest explosive kill ever. Unless you also count the time I was on the very top-right polygon in ctf_B2b, randomly lobbing M79 'nades down below, and actually killing someone xD

I've gotten something around 200m once with a LAW on a Trenchwar map.  I was mostly artillery bombing to cover the FFC, but I got lucky.  Didn't even see the bastard.

I'm pretty sure there's a limit to the LAW range; at some point it runs out of "fuel" and just drops like a rock.  Does the vertical distance add to the total distance? Is it just calculated based on a line from the firer to the target?

Anyway, this is the farthest I'VE ever gotten, so I'm not about to say I've determined the max.  I'm going to be ecstatic if I ever hit 200 =).

I did the same with the EFC once.  I got stuck when I was chasing him on top of ctf_Run, so I dropped to a knee, calculated where he'd be, then dropped him.  I think it was about 120m.  I've also got some nice ones on ctf_Dropdown and ctf_Maya where I calculated and hit the EFC (offscreen) just before he captured.  They get pretty ticked off when that happens =).
