=)
Figured this thing out today, which is pretty sweet. You can launch Soldat servers from mIRC [or more specifically, using the
NoNameScript's lately version, 4.03]
Also of note, the script doesn't work with the latest version of mIRC. So get mIRC 6.17 in the download section of the NNS site. along with the script itself.
So here it is. [not sure if this is common knowledge already, but I didn't see a guide for this anywhere]
Step 1:Open
mIRC 6.17 with NoNameScript 4.03, click on the "NoNameScript" drop down menu, then over "Tools", followed by "Games", finally stopping at "Setup..."
Step 2:yours would probably be completely blank if you never played with this before.
no problem... just click on [ + ] and name it "soldat" to fill in the rest of the formPath File: where you have Soldat.exe saved at.
Commandline: -join <iponly> <port> <pass>
And if you'd like... you can put a message and even have the script change your nick when you go to play.
Step 3:Now you can join games by double clicking on the IPs in chatrooms.
Welp, that should do it. Enjoy.
