Cannot delete file
« on: October 21, 2006, 02:26:23 pm »
I want to delete file but a message keeps popping up saying Cannot delete file: It is being used by another person or program
Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.

I already tried killing explorer.exe and deleting the file in DOS but that didn't work.

Any ideas or programs that can do it ?

It's an ISO file and there are no processes running that are related to it.

Create a startup floppy disk , then if your Advanced BIOS setup is set to look for an OS on your floppy drive before your hdd(s), just put it when you boot your computer and delete the file through DOS.

In case you don't understand some parts of what i wrote, google it.

i had this problem and i restarted my comp. and it was fine
Your acting like your having a duel and your opponent gets a pistol and you get a spork.
Isn't that pretty much what it is? I dunno wtf a spork is, I suppose it's way weaker than the pistol since you compared that to this.
