The hundred polygons messes up the collision system so they propel you in the opposite direction you touched them in; if you landed on them, they launch you up. If you run into them as a wall, they propel you the opposite direction. If the polygons are a ceiling and you fly or jump into them, they shoot you down.
They push you in whatever opposite direction you contact them in. More polygons = greater boost., but too many will result in a game error
