MY own server

oke ,

i got this problem i want to play whit some friends ( not lan )whitout other people joining i downloaded the disideted server but the problem is
if i search in the catagory deathmatch i see my own server but i am not able to join
it how come ?

can anyone help me ?

This should be posted in Server Help.

You'll need to forward the required ports with your router, see Port Forward for information on how to do this.

I had this problem with my server, not being able to join by clicking on it in the lobby. My fix - was to just type in the lan ip itself (the one that pops up in the server console)

try to join with you Local Computer's IP: 127.0.0.1

i'm also not able to join with my ip adress, but 127.0.0.1 will work for me!

it shows up in the local servers but not internet very wierd
