Server Crashes when people like to chat
« on: November 18, 2006, 06:12:34 am »
Hey there!

Yesterday I spent hours playing soldat with my honey sitting next to me.
We did not use the ingame chat ... we are not that nerdy ;)

But once a friend of mine connected to the server and wanted to use the ingame
Chat, the server crashed and did not respond anymore ... (but I'm able to connect due ARSSE .... We can't connect into the game anymore, even after stopping the
Server and starting it again the problem was still there.

Im running the latest beta server on a Linux Debian Sarge Server in the daemon
Mode.
The log says this:

Quote
...
[myhoney] bla
Runtime error 231 at 08059BC9
Server Encountered an error:
'' is not a valid integer value
Shutting server...

a bigh thanks ahead
greets

i think you mean this

Quote
[NETWORK]
NR-Service=0
NR-OnlyAllowRegistered=0
MaxAdminConnections=50
AntiMassFlag=1
Scripting=1 // <<<<<------

i turned this off, and im going to test it now.
What will be the effect ? No more bullet tracing or something?

thanks

i'll give a feedback soon

*edit:
