making a mod

I tried making modded guns, but they never show up when i play the game, all i want is the gun like the law, but you dont have to neal down to shoot, you can shoot doing whatever, and you have like 10 shots? can some 1 make it for me? and tell me how to go forth on making it work in the game?

Functions are hardcoded to weapons. If you mean "law" as the fourth secondary-weapon, you must always crouch to use that no matter what. You can always extend sniper aim with weapon 8, weapon 1 will always fire two shots, etc.

See Bullet Styles @ the Soldat Wiki for more information, especially the compatability list in the bottom. The right section of that would be the most important regarding your mod, I think

i dont want to modd the law, i was in a modded server, and they had a gun that fired just like the law, same effects everything just more powerfull and shot faster, i was just wondering if some 1 could make it for me, or something cuz everything i changed aint working ..

Fill it in for any weapon. I'd prefer filling it in for a m79.

ok ill just fill this in click and save it " Over write it from the old 1 " and thats it ?

If your going to overwrite the standard weapon settings, I suggest you make a backup first.

I was just gonna say that Plonkoon=P. The reload time may be a little to high, you can fine tune it on your own.

i did that, saved it to the same place where my old weapons 1s were and still isnt working ?? any reason why?

You replaced it in the weapons.ini right? and then you need to save it, then close it out.

sorry i was writing it to the wrong 1, i got it now thanks for the help only thing now is i cant find the bullet thats like the law bullet, that i can shoot without nealing down

I already told you that the fourth secondary-weapon will always require the player to kneel down no matter what. ??? It's just hardcoded; there's nothing you can do about it.

And please don't triple-post; use the button in the top-right of your posts in the future

BTW, "the bullet thats like the law bullet" is located ..\Soldat\Weapons-gfx\missile.bmp
