That sweet kid made my awesome avatar. I did edit it slightly, (i.e...made it transperent)...but doesn't it ROCK! :D

Mixing of styles (or so it seems) looks weird. Much respect for artistic talent though.

Try out this  ;)

I hope its not ripping off SSG much, but that's what generally comes out when I do semi-anime at small size.  ::)

Aye, I might see if I can change that. XD

Small edit, added more thumb and some slight adjustments to the fingers..

Thats the problem with doing small pictures- theres not alot to work with. Thats why I like to do large pictures more than comics.

As I think I said to you, theres a part on the M4 that looks a little out of place. The handle at the top (used to carry the gun) is to far up the barrel, and it should be in line with the trigger part and the mag. All is fine though :). See the pic in my sig for reference....

SD, your art style is so weird. You draw (mostly) basic shapes for body parts, and then you color them with shading and alot of detail. Makes a good combination if ya ask me.  :D

Well the basic shapes thing might be because most of the drawing I done before DevArt were engineering designs at high school (like the Ruger in my 4th comic, but bigger and more detailed) instead of an art class, wich is why I'm (normaly) good at drawing weapons and detailed stuff but my humans sometimes look odd.

Have to agree with ya there.

I'm kinda the opposite of you.  I can draw sweet weapons, but I'm not exactly good with people.  Plus, until I (finally) get my laptop, I'm not gonna have much time to do much with GIMP...so I'm getting kinda rusty in the art department.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

To do stuff like doc-evilonavich's work, you need some CAD software to get those perfect proportions and lines; I used CAD/CAM to make some fake bullet caseings for a high school film...good times....

Actualy on topic: A little Xmas update....

"Every dwarf needs a tactical machine pistol"?  Then why doesn't that one have one? XD
