spawnkilling is not ever a good excuse for any reason, where your flag is is irrelevant.
I enjoyed that. And I'm sorry, but that's called defending your flag. If all you can do to hold a person off from your flag is consistantly shoot them down before they can take it and cap, you damn well better do that. I'd be pissed if they got a cap when it could have been stopped and the person's reason for not stopping them was because it would be spawning.Plus, I damn well know alot of you, upon reaching a flag with someone spawning next to it, will kill that person before they can kill you. This is the same mentality, except flipped around to protect your flag, rather than steal theirs.
^ Maybe so, but how many people are going to be sporting enough to let them move out of their base and load their weapons. Spawnkilling is even harder to avoid in DMs. Maybe its because I don't use Barrett, but I don't shed a tear when I spawnkill people and I don't whine and vote-kick when people spawnkill me, I don't expect people to wait for me to walk out of my spawn area and aim at them before they are 'allowed' to shot at me like somekind of chivalric high noon dual.
well you're not correct there with that, you can only kill spawnkillers with a nicely placed nade or a quick evasion move to get into a better position.
-they know exactly where there enemy will show up
-their m79 / barrett is usually loaded, the spawning people's not
-they can bring themselves into better position before somebody spawns
-they have free room at their back, the spawning people are simply stuck in their base in most maps (voland, maya, ash, dropdown2, death)
