Sound frapping
« on: November 07, 2006, 08:24:08 am »
So there are several sounds id like to rip off from a movieclip and a game.
And I need a tool that can record them and give em to me as .wav files.

So im basicly asking: Is there a Fraps-like program to rip the sounds only?
...And turn em into wav format after?

I think audacity might be able to do that. Google it though, I'm at school, and this period's nearly over. It's on sourceforge, I think.

I used this program for the same reason, it should work good with you too.

The absolute best program ive come across and use to rip, mix, edit, and create sounds is Adobe Audition 2.0. Profesional DJs and record companies use this very same program. Dont get intimidated by it, youll learn as you go.

Wavepad can open a lot of video files, but they only appear and they can only be saved as sounds.
