Wings 3D.

Who here has heard of or used Wings 3D? For those who are uninformed, it's a cross-platform freeware editor with the simplest interface I've ever seen, bundled with some truly great mesh transformation tools. It can export in quite a few formats (3DS and OBJ being the most known), making it a good editing tool for tons of games.

I've never been able to do anything more than make a cube in any 3D editor, but after a day of using wings 3d, and after a quick skim through the controls in the help file, I made this:

So, any Wings users here? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I've heard quite a bit about wings, but have never had any motivation to try it.  I'll test it out and see how it goes...

Edit: Eh, its simplicity gets in the way of its usability.  Although some of the interface works much better than other programs I've seen.

I prefer Maya..... <<
I dunno, I've used a lot of free 3d modellers/editors and in general they just aren't that great. On the other hand I can't really wrap my head around 3d studio max, so... Maya fer me :x
