An asymmetrical CTF map, I tried my best to make it balanced as possible. Good for small, medium, or large number of players.

And if you're wondering where I've been recently, well it's because I haven't been here.  I've been busy as fuck, school, band practice, and some other things have been taking up my time.  I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to submit a map for the contest, but thankfully my weekend was free and I was able to finish this map.

And besides being happy that the map's finished, we won Battle of the Bands, we did a cover of this song.  (I did the vocals, we killed the kids who came with 6 strings and 5 piece drum sets doing Punk Rock.)

At first I was thinking, "Hey I'm into singing too" but now I'm listening to the music, haha. If I were to sing anything, it'd be something like Dream Theater... nice job winning; pretty rad.

Open ended maps like this are fun.

I can understand the
Bravo= Easier to get flag, harder to escape
Alpha= Harder to get flag, easier to escape
I'm sure there's alot more adv/disadv and goes deeper than that but...

The problem is that it all can be negated by the m79 booster imo. And personally, I'm not really for the open bottom end

Here's an idea you probably won't like anyway, but yea.

I agree with jerich on the boosting issues.
It seems as though you never put any effort into your maps.  Same theme, same colors, same scenery, same style, same crap.

Stick to making band covers.

@Jerich

The boosting was a concern that I had, I'll see what I can do, but I'll keep the map bottomless.

@Eagles_Arrows

While that's a fair enough statement, it's because they all follow a specific style and that applies to the CTF maps only.

Either way, I don't have to be here and I felt that it was necessary that I submit something for the contest, whether it's terrible or decent.  Several more and I'll call it quits.

And we don't only do band covers, it was part of the contest.  1 cover, 3 original songs.

I like the map. A roof would ruin the look imo. Maybe transparent.

And I don't think you should quit mapping!

Rethink how you've done the deadly polys at the bottom. Check b2b, or any of my open maps to see how it should be.

That aside, it looks like it should have less jet, to prevent boosting, and it might be prudent to put something above the flags for the same reason. That aside, it's not bad. I'd like to see a little more in the way of scenery, but it's a decent shot, considering you're out of practice.
