Weapon sprite problem.

I tried making a weapon for the Heretic Mod II. It looks good in-game when holding it while facing right, but when I face to the left, the club moves up, and is above my hands. Why does it do this?

I think you have to make the flip other sprite 180° to top that. But its been a while since Ive made a mod, so I'm not too sure.

It's one of the kinds of mods that you install, instead of putting them into your mods folder, and there is only one sprite that faces to the right..

Sounds like they didn't put the right files in the install then.

Hey, I didn't lower your karma! I should though for you acting like that.
In fact, I raised it.
So help me.
And all the wepons only have only in-game sprites facing to the right, and they work fine.
EDIT: And this happened once when I made a dodgeball sprite.

I wasn't saying you did, but I mean that it went into -'s today. Although karma doesn't matter
that
much, but it does sort of make me wonder why I still bother when its been lowered from 8
Back on topic: It sounds like the spite is the wrong way, as when you turn the other way, the weapon goes upside down, wich means that you have to make a version that is the opposite of the orginal, as all weapons have a 2nd file that stops that from happpening. Or at least I think thats how it works. As I said, its been a while for me.

I was sort of jokeing when I said that "not allowed to help anymore" thing, because it would be selfish to not help someone else because someone else decides that they want to smite me. Even so, it is tempting to go all EMO and 'fine, be that way Soldat Forums, I'll just leave you with your damn problems.....'

The size of a graphic (not just weapons-gfx) may interfere with its positioning. If it is the regular graphic (facing ->), the longer the graphic is vertically, the lower it will go. If it is <image>-2 (facing <-), the longer the graphic is vertically, the higher it will go.
This is really annoying for weapons which require a long vertical graphic to display an important component (such as a bipod or such), and cannot be fixed because it's a result of Soldat taking images by the top-left and rotating them instead of horizontally flipping them. (Of course, if this was to be changed, all older mods would be messed up)

u can put the rotated image and plase it to above if possible,this will maybe fix it.
