Dm Erosion
« on: February 01, 2007, 01:56:37 pm »
I'm back with yet another craptastical map ! This time the entrant is Dm Erosion, a small sized Death Match map designed for slower-paced battles due to its size and obstacles.
Overview

Info
Waypointed : No.
Size : Small.
Recommended Players : 2-4
Coolosity Rating : Undecided.

This is my second DM map, so don't go baselessly insulting how terrible it is; I'll have no idea how to make it better ;)

The preferred outcome of war is peace. Ironic, huh ?

You already said it yourself. You could atleast say something nice about
your map instead of saying out loud almost literally ''I suck! LOL''

Yes, but I'm have a reason for calling it crap. I know that I could have done better than this, but multiple factors including time, power, and food constraints kept me from doing well. So there :p

And I'm pretty sure that what you just said there was entirely off topic, just to letcha know.

the shading is ok in some parts, needs scenery and more routes / shading.
There are other worlds than these

Any comments on where to do the shading ? I didn't want to do too much on the left side, I was going for a bit of a blocked-sun motif. E.g. The only lightsource is from the upper spawn point heading down at five o'clock.

the bottom half is very good for shading, but the top ceiling is too dark, maybe add another layer of polys and make it 3dish.
AND FOR GOD SAKES ADD SOME SCENERY
