paint problem

[Red Neck]

i was just working on makeing a replacement gun for the minigun and i told paint to use green for the fill and i used it in the background like is normal with most weapons for soldat but instead it put grey any ideas on what is causing this

Make sure that the image is set to 24-bit color, and nothing else. That would cause the issue you are stating.
