The Second Chance Factor

Move if need be.

I have noticed in Soldat Climbing maps that if you miss a jump you have a second chance to regain stamina and successfully complete the jump.

As shown here that you have missed this poly in your jump. But, the thing I have noticed, shown here you can flip out of the side of it and successfully land it. I have been using this tactic on many maps, so I urge map makers to avoid the square form.

you dont need to 'regain stamina' the moment you make the crap landing you can do it. Just a backflip. I think it makes climbing maps more fun and adds a bit of unpredictable play to the maps.

Not in ClimbHell. I helped create a decent weapon mod that nullifies nades from ever leaving the players palm. I only allow nades on maps that have actual nade jumps. Check it out for yourself, if you're doubtful.

[eC] climb server has one nade enabled so that you have to touch a nade box to get nades.
Works quite well.
