I was actually considering making a colonial marines mod a while back.. But I have nowhere to get the sound effects from otherwise I probably would.

There's a M56 Smartgun in everyone's favorite Soldat mod, Hardwar: Tactics. I'm too lazy to fetch it for you right now, so I'll only do it if you ask politely and with proper grammar.
On a related topic, you should check out AliensRL because I beta-tested it and provided the medkit sound (which I stole from PapaSurf).
