My point was is that it would be a great risk to do so, without really knowing what you get out of it.

Well there is a big difference between the m79 in public servers and the one in private servers (scrims).

The m79 users in public servers bascially have a buffet because you got like 8 on a team and there a limitless opponents to hit.

In a scrim however, with 2 going main, and 1 alt, the nades and spray counter any m79 shots. The only real use for m79 in a scrim is to push your way into enemy base. Otherwise it is a pretty useless gun (unless u dual wep).

Theres my 2 cents

Beta testing has nothing to do with it.

Actually, it does.  Often when you make a change in the program, you don't know how exactly it will affect gameplay.  It's easy enough to tweak or remove, but the beta testers can guide you through that.  And that way, there's no risk involved, since you're not releasing the change to the public.

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

I actually think that change would affect the game positively.
It would also allow skilled players to toss them around corners.

the m79 is useless at long range, if they manage to hit you then you obviously have an extremely predictable path and suck a lot.

I want to get those kills on these suck players, why would you want to erase one of the few things the m79 has that actually takes skill?
