Originally meant to be a kind of htf_dusk2, but Hudo's Festen gave me cool ideas for the castles, so they're a bit similar but not at all as good. I also shamelessly ripped off his cool rocks so I don't need to be told that over and over. Credit to Vtt, xt, sk etc for scenery.

Take Hudo's charming, delightful fantasy world, combine it with Wraithlike...  and you get a world grimmer than the worst horrors of Mordor.

As always, a nice map - though the tower walls could be darker, they just stick out too much this way. The structure in the right top corner is supported in an unrealistic way, as opposed to the other buildings, which makes it look awkward. Also, there seems to be a lack of a proper circular route, which could downgrade the gameplay value of the map.

But nice job anyway.

Great map.

As Demonic said, the castles need to be darker to blend with the rest of the map and there needs to be some shading.

I also noticed that castle in the top right corner (which Demonic commented on being unrealistic) is very annoying for getting up, and onto the top level from underneath. You might want to make it smaller or completely get rid of it if you plan to update.

This would be very good for deathmatch.

Overall I really like the map, the shading, scenery usage and the atmosphere (that seems to come with every one of your maps) is fantastic. Great work.

I agree, the castles stand out too much, but the layout lends itself to deathmatch very nicely.I like the atmosphere and scenery usage, as usual. However it seems odd to me that you have all the pine trees down the bottom, and other trees up the top, ie. the are segregated. Maybe mixing tree styles would be an improvement?

I think this is great for an htf.  and the only visual complaint I have, as mentioned above, is the castles don't look right.  Maybe something darker.

Wraithlike can't make horrible maps it seems!
I know this is a pretty old topic but still...
I actually like the castle in the top-right corner, just because of it's unreal look. It makes it look like magic is keeping it up. Although, they are too bright as mentioned. Very nice, could use some more smoothing but... Very nice as always!

and this command should drop a random item ?
