well...you could give a little more detail about aiming or how to ricochet OR how to blind shot
Everything about the barett is pretty selfexplanitory

Other than the obvious response of "What the fuck do you mean by 'shadys'??"
The barrett is simple, point, shoot, wait, repeat.
Some people are so impacient that they can't handle the added "wait" The most common reason for this impacients is because most people who play soldat are little 12 year old hyper kids on their 6th can of coke while having a sezure about the m79.

Things get more complicated when there are 2 enemies, I only started using secondaries after I started using the barret. Any complete moron could go in knowing only the weapon stats and learn how to use it in minutes. Anything after getting used to the bink is just target practice.

shady is the name of the biggest barrettard there is.

and you dont get a lot of kill by waiting(camping) and second, barrett is not as easy as you think it is. Try 1 on 1 some real snipers(even me), not some random barrett users in pubs. But before that, dont start judging barrett

I've played with a lot of barretters, and this guide was for turning the sniper barrett into a melee weapon. Even 1-on-1'ed with Jester, Lyster, Sure Shot, Raven_Dolph, and who knows how many other notable players.

typical forum flaming.

well, bn, your guide served its purpose. im new to soldat, and this helped me to notice at least one thing, and it is that the barret has a bink, it just isnt as much as the other weapons.

thanks for writing this basic manual. if yall want something more advanced, why dont you write it yourself?

I have worked with the barrett for MONTHS. Why y'all think that this guide is just....missing something? Just write one yourself, as viceroy says.

i usually use a socom with the barret, but occasionally i pull out a knife.

And i aim by going prone in midair and aiming way past my target on the line of fire. Going prone will automatically increase the guns accuracy to nearly 100% and the bullet will fly straight and true, unless your falling really fast. So there is no calculation or guestimating to do as to where you should aim at all. Its that simple. Prone, Aim, Shoot.

Which is why mad secondary or dodging skills are required when you use the barrett.
