I don't eat much barbecue. I don't want cancer.
Insted you cook everything you eat in the microwave?

Nothing wrong with that.  It shouldnt cause cancer unless when you cook with it you stick your face against it, and even then there isn't that much of a worry with new microwaves :P

I was suprised to see how many of you can actually cook! From what I've been seein', food is much better when you take the time to make it yourself, and how you want it.
Grits rock gram, I just need to figure a way to make em's.

I usually cook whenever there's friends or family around though... because then you can show how skilled (or unskilled) you are.

grits for one person:
1 cup of water, bring to a boil, add 1/4 cup grits, stir and add a little salt and pepper(butter if you wish), put on low heat for 2.5 minutes if your using gas or 5 minutes for electric stove, make sure they are like a gel, thick enough to eat with a fork but not too thick, add salt, pepper, and butter as you wish, a taste addition is freshly cooked bacon added with the grits.

I work in a Pizza/Pasta/Ribs kind of restaurant as a cook so I just copy what I make there. Some pretty sweet gourmet pizzas, o and southwest potato skins, those are good.

Also some pretty sweet nachos and Panzerotti rolls/Stromboli sandwiches
