Map Randomization

I have always had the though if Soldat can have the choice of choosing random bots, then why not maps.  I feel this is necessary because sometimes when I play, I can't really decide on what map to choose, so with this feature, it'll just be a little user-friendly.

This would be a great option to tie into a vote map menu which would pull the available maps on a server as well as offer the ability to vote for a random map. I wouldn't call it a priority, though, as if people can't decide on a map, then just go with the rotation. :P

Yes that would be helpfull, I would prefer to wait till the final build to have that since it'd be a last prioritei like Mr. Domino said.

There's a script available for map randomisation, by Bmekim, (Mikembm on these forums).

Still, it would be nice to be able to check a box in the options. Much easier.

This idea has my %100 support.

There is really no reason not to have it in there, and it will very much so affect the game in a positive light. However, this idea will be possible when 1.4 comes out and all of the new scripting functions will be working. So, we just have to wait for someone to make a script that randomises the maps.

It's a very good idea. But if the random map picking is left to its own devices, it will pick the worst map.
