Great Escapes. Tell everyone of your amazing escape
« on: April 23, 2007, 09:22:38 am »
Well i was in ctf_viet and i'd gone the bottom route. Nothing fancy just made my way to enemy base. I got there then i was about to get the flag and i heard the all-to-familiar sound of re-spawning. Whipped out the barret and shot one down, rolled away from an m79 shot and knifed another, i was out of weapons then i thought well ill die and come back but i remembered nades so then naded one more person and when it hit him it sent me flying and my escape was complete.

Tell everyone of you're lucky escape or story of getting out of that situation that you thought was impossible

The soldier turned around. The last of many who died in the war for mankind, a smile rising up on his face but then he heard it, a low rumbling roar coming from the depths of hell and then he realized.................the Dread were coming.

ctf_nuubia with 16 players >.<

That was cool.

I made it into the enemy base on the higher way, grabed the flag and wanted to pick up a medikit on one of those higher platforms, you know, that small ones. As I get there "Sllllmmmmmaaaaaaaarrrrrrrpgh!" I hear, and I catch a glimpse of 3-5 players that just respawned. I rugere'd one down and dropped a nade, going off the platform to the left. Not a good idea that was, as I faced an M79 on very close rage. I rolled past him, he missed. Slllmmmmmmmmmmmarrrrph it goes as right in front of me 2 guys respawn.

>_>  <_<

Okay, so I run back into their base. May sound stupid but hey, whatever floats your boat. I jumped low, rugering the M79 down.
Now I was really left hanging while reloading. I picked my old trusty knife that lead me through so many awesome frags and throw it behind me right before I turn around to face the enemies in the base.

You killed *insert name here*

Wow, another cool knife-frag. But wouh, the base. Three opponents are in there. Suddenly, my saviour comes from the left, a teammate. He kills one enemy, then dies from his own nade.

>_<

Well, that attack gave me a short moment to get down, grabbing a nade kit and escaping through the low way. One of the 2 opponents left follows me directly low, the other one aims for hitting me from above by going high. Well, neither one succeded. The low one stepped on my nade, the high one ate my ruger as I knew he would be coming high.

But as you know, getting out of the base isn't even half of the procedure in capping the flag.

So I am at the middle of the map, low, on very low health. Then, some enemy pops up and starts blasting his MP5 into me. I manage to toss the flag to a teammate close to me and die.

Respawn in.....

Slllmmmmmmmmmaaaaaarrrrrrrrppphhhh

I respawn, hearing from a taunt that the flag got loose high. I run low, because that's where I respawned.
One enemy - BANG - the next one -BANG-

Double Kill

Then I get high onto the middle platform, seeing the flag and two enemies close to it. As they were smelling the recap, I backflip right past them, grabbing the flag. One of them punches the other one down, then starts shooting at me with his Deagles. I manage to dodge 2 shots, but the 3rd one hits my legs. I am now close to our base and backflip up into the high base area. As I go low to finally score that flag, that Deagle guy's still there. I get my knife out and throw it......*smack*

Bravo Team Scores!

I cannot recall the map name, but it's one of those with a nice loooong tunnel down from base to base. The tunnel is usually full of snipers/sprayers.

Well, I had charged towards the enemy base, this being ctf, and had managed to push trough most of their force with "minimal" damage. In other words, I would die if I as much as tripped or leaned heavily on a wall. I knew that the rise of the enemy was but a matter of time so I hurriedly took the flag, too afraid to leave it with a teammate. I rush down the drain and manage to get to the tunnel and find it suprisingly empty. While I was near the middle of the map someone tried to shoot down at me while jumping from the broken bridge. I hastily flew trough the area, avoiding death thanks to the fact that my slight experience allowed me to dodge his first shot and he didn't have time for another before I was already past that part of the map, speeding towards my base, left alone dodging the flying lead licking my heels. I narrowly managed to stay above his aim and flew up to a nice pension in the countryside with a medal.

Certainly, it may not sound much, but taken in account that I had 1% health left, and that it was a realistic server, it actually is the kind of work usually expected out of prominent figures of most notable religions.

Just now, on Elite Saw & Law, we played ctf_Noam. I loved it.

That's how the round ended.

I used a saw exclusively, and I can remember the second-to-last cap. It was amazing.

Here I am, just rolling along the middle....I kill two or three guys on the way to their base. As I get in, I see 3 around it, and I superman in, just barely touching the flag. I saw'd the nearest one, then bolted for the low route. As I took it, they both followed me (thank God they had only saws), and in the little "temple" thing, I got slowed down. DEAR GOD I SLOWED DOWN!!!I came within maybe a fraction of a foot from their saws, then leapt off the other side of the small temple platform. I continued to run straight away from them, gaining a little bit of distance after that small temple. I saw the base opening, then the flag. From my climbing experience, I calculated and performed a perfect jump up from the base opening, with the two expecting me to hiccup on that opening, and return the flag. However, I jetted, my teammates saw me and went for my pursuers, and I supermanned in midair, straight onto our flag.

There was another one in that same round, just earlier, where I went mid, into their base, and there was only one noob there. I capped the flag, and went low again, but he went mid to try and head me off. However, my teammates were rushing, and he got SAW'D!!!

I ran into my empty base just as two of my men spawned, and scored.

Love Elite Saw & Law now.

EDIT: I just noticed that Alpha had one more guy than us, and we still won. LOL.

Don't say that you're Magic. Because you aren't, and I am.
All-around good with weapons that aren't long range, except in TW.
Now be careful out there, soldier.
