Dunno how but mine are now like there were in <1.3.1(green,red,yellow). Might have happened after I messed around in the font.ini and the english.ini file, just changing size and then next time I started Soldat I had the old colors.

No, the death console colors are changed. Rather than the standard red-green-yellow, it has tinted colors for each team so you can see who on what team killed who on the other team. I would like more saturation on them, so it's easier to tell.
Should totally be a .ini option, IMHO, rather than fixed.

They'll behave like that in Deathmatch. Try joining a server with a team game mode and check if they still are 1.3.1 style.
