Alright, who has problems with 1.4

When I try to join a game, it says "connection accepted", but doesn't do anything to actually join the game. If I try to play against bots, the program screams for an error and freezes.

I've heard people complain about the same things - Soldat keeps on crashing, or refuses to start. Do you have a ultra killer computer or an old piece of crap? Do you have many Soldats installed into your system? Did you use a patch or a clean install?

Known problems:
- Soldat crashes after starting or joining game.
If your video card does not support rendering to texture technology (really old cards pre-Geforce era) then the only way to run Soldat is by checking Video Compatibility in Soldat Setup (under `More` tab).
Checking Video Compatibility means that you won`t take advantage of the new font rendering engine (UNICODE and shadows won`t be supported). Also the minimap won`t work. This is also the current way to run Soldat on Wine.
- Windows Vista doesn`t seem to work with antialiasing in fullscreen (turn off antialiasing in Vista).

Hmm, let's say: Soldat 1.4 is Piece of S***, i want 1.3.1 back!

i have the 1.3.1 setup still saved im going to install that now and then get the 1.4.1 patch and see if it works...

If you're having problems and you used the patch, uninstall Soldat and reinstall from the full installer.

Im not having any problems anymore, The servers are working fine, never crashes. its pretty much soldat heaven over here. lol. I think they did a great job.
