Need Help: I can't connect to servers

all i get when i request a server is "connection accepted..." and then it DOSNT go INTO the server. thats it no other errors just that. now i didnt see this specificaly on the fixes patch. can someone help me? ???

It helps if you tell what version you're using, as some people haven't upgraded yet.

I've seen this in 1.3.1, though I haven't yet encountered it in 1.4.  You could try hitting "Disconnect" and then "Join Server" again?

Could be a router issue, try to connect directly to the internet to see if that fixes it. Otherwise, it may possibly be an anti-virus/firewall issue, or if you are on windows Vista some people are known to have this problem.
