Possible to run soldat from thumbdrive?

Ive been trying but i keep getting an error message...anyone know how to get it to work?

That is happening because direct-x 8 is not installed on that computer. You see how it referenced d3d8.dll~, thats from direct x 8 or higher. Just install it on the computer and you should be good to go.

Or you could put it on your drive, but I'm not sure if that would work entirely, it might since the error message says it looked in F:/.../soldat/ for it.

so theoretically, if i put dx8 on my drive it should hopefully run?

well, in my class weve so far been successful with counter strike, doom, half life, and some other stuff, so i dont see why it wouldnt

a soldat lan would be pretty cool though..mmm
