Can't join error.

I get an error when I try to join a game and play.
The error is....Access violation at address at 1000259B in module 'D3D8.DLL'. Read address 090B07F4.
I have tried some other ways to fix this but nothing helps, like updating directX, checking video compatible.

Nvm I got it fixed. I re-installed it, but that didn't work and then I saw the text editor I installed and removed that and then it worked.
