No alpha chanel in 140? wtf, why?

Only .png supports alpha, and the alpha channel is supported in soldat 1.4.0. The other formats only support a transparency color of pure green. Nothing to do with soldat though, it's due to the format.

i dont have alpha in .png textures, in 131 it was

...why do you need that???
I read that now POLYs have alpha...
