If so, then Parallels Desktop came with it. And you can run Windows on it.

However, if you REALLY want to get it working, use Ubuntu Linux on your Mac. Then it should end up working if you follow the instructions.
I use ubuntu too (on it right now). such a nice distro Feisty Fawn (7.04)

Firstly, Boot Camp is not an emulator.  It is simply a wizard of sorts to help you create a Windows partition on your hard drive and install Windows drivers for Apple's hardware.  It it will run once to establish this, then you will dual-boot (and windows will run natively). 

You will have to reboot your computer in your OS of choice, which is a pain, but you can run any Windows app without the slowdown or quirkiness of an emulator.
