No their isn't. I think the reason we don't have it is so that there are not redundant posts and topics.

There is... but via external scripts. Not that I'd recommend the use of them since it might cause confusion, but it's rather easy to find with Google - so anyhow.

Get GreaseMonkey, a Firefox extension and then install this script for it (original author; I only changed one line so it'll apply to this forum by default). You can then choose to suppress the text in all posts made by a user of your choice.
