AK is underpowered and way too slow since it was changed in 1.3. In the experimental balance the ak is okay, though.

But You have to admit it that the m79 is overpowered.....mostly when a whole server is useing it....But if its the right map feed them the AUG.

oh yeah, and you should reconsider the CS version of AK. just two/one head shot and they're dead. so don't complain, AK-74 as already been discraced with slow as hell fire rate. but the power and recoil is amazing. so it doesn't have to be changed.

tehsnipah, this post was probably made back in 1.3.1, the ak has been changed since then, and its an interesting THING YOU FAIL TO NOTICE THAT THEY CHANGE BALANCES IN DIFFERENT VERSIONS AND YOU DECIDED TO POST A COMPLAINT IN A THREAD THAT WAS POSTED ALL THE WAY BACK IN 1.3.1 WHERE THE AK PROBABLY HAD THE SAME FIRE RATE AS THE DAMNED STEYR, also, CS version of the ak? If you have CS, why are you playing soldat? CS is more realistic then Soldat for one point, and Must I say again? This was POSTED BACK IN 1.3.1. Case closed, lock, anyone?

Me and elite or aka (aimbot) did a auto weapons test on Rok Yesterday. No nades, no secondarys just autos. The score was always the same 20-14 or sometimes 20-16, 20-13 he used minimi the first round i used ak. Second round he used ak and i used ak..same score.

The only weapon we have not tested yet is steyr vs ak, as far as weapon balance goes.. it is done very well. The Ak can keep up with any other auto so far, but we will see what happens when we test out steyr and ak.

as far as i can see theres no point even discussing changes made to the autos because there all fine.
