Alright. I am from the "notorious" fracs community
. Alot of you have the mapping skills, but I personally don't think alot of your maps grasp proper and/or fun gameplay. Sure, alot of your maps are pretty and amazingly hard to recreate, but the high poly counts or overly scenerized maps don't really scream new fun sctfl worthy map. I am not saying all of you suck and all of my ideas are the bomb, I'm just offering a proposition. I offer ideas, and you capitalize from them. I am not particularly skilled in the mapping area, but I am creative and I have played this game for a hella long time and I know what goes and flows. You can pick from what I offer, and do with as you please. All I ask is some credit is returned to me.
First off.
It is a beta, just roughly mapped and scenerized but the layout was meticulously thought over.
The tiny middle ledges in the spawning points in the base regenerate. The top ledges in the bases are blocked by player only collides polys. The bridge in the middle is player only collides and the space under it is bloody deadly. There should be two small openings on either side of the bridge "voland style".
If you are interested in beautifying or modifying this map, tell me and I can msn you the file as soon as possible.
Secondly
Keep in mind that it was done in paint in a brief amount of time
. Everything is supposed to be symmetrical in proportion (not detail) and all the polys aren't supposed to be straight and flat and plain, that was just the fastest way to convey the basic idea. Paint obscured the length and height I desired. The end result should be somewhat the size of voland (perhaps a tad larger) and I personally envisioned a desert theme, but hey, if you make it, thats your call. lol. (I am definitely open to pretty much all changes to the center "gap" area
and I debated with myself about adding a jutting "spike" coming down from the roof of the top route into the "gap" to deter spray and the like.) [obviously the creator will need to add spawn points, scenery, and colliders.] Again, msg me if you are interested in taking up this project.
I have many more to come, I just have to access them from my other computer.

I know this is a double post but I figured hey, It's new content and it'll be a bump too, lol

It shares some similarities with the 2nd map of my previous post, but it is undoubtedly unique. The map is intented to be blocky and flat but with key colliders and scenery to deter camping etc. For the theme I envisioned voland-esque poly coloring or perhaps ash, but again, It's up to anyone who wants to make it.

I think the picture is pretty self explanatory. Again, theme is up to whoever feels like making it.
