92% of teens have moved onto rap. If you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your signature.

I like the idea, but it needs better shading, and something to stop the inevitable mass spraying.

The spraying on this map will be inevitable, make a thing to stop it, but the map is ok, add more clouds and shade it a bit, it's really easy, try it.

Got any ideas for what I could put in to stop the spraying? :S I can't think of anything.

And yeah, Polyworks is being retarded with that map  ??? when I try change the colour of a point, it goes black, then i click it again and it goes to like blue or red or something weird. So I gave up and didn't shade it.

Hmmm...I don't know about that, kind of ruins the feel of the map IMO.

Maybe just add more clouds, and put random colliders in them?

Yeah I agree with you brad. That does kinda ruin the feel of the map. I think I'll try your idea. :P

put a wall of invisible bullets-only-collide polygons down the halfway point of the map, from the top to the lower-middle to stop spray a bit

Lol gorge means?

A deep narrow passage with steep rocky sides; a ravine.

Waterfall could work, I would say Mistercharles idea would work to.

MisterCharles idea seems the best. Just don't make it a solid wall, there should be places that you can shoot through.

Put a bridge in the gorge and some X's should defense the people running to the enemy base.

I don't think there should be a bridge, because the point of the map is to go down into the gorge. If you put a bridge (even if it had gaps that you could go through), it would ruin the feel of the map (IMO). So, I don't think a bridge is the solution. MisterCharles idea was the best, so Derik should do that. It would stop the spray, and retain the gameplay of the map. Just make sure the only-bullets-collide/invisible polygons don't go down into the gorge.

Yeah, the sketch I based that off of had a bridge in it, but for CTF it would be far too easy to reach the other flag. Nobody would even bother to go down into the gorge, there would be no need to when theres a bridge. :P It would just get really hectic on the bridge, leaving the gorge practically unused.

Unless of course, the flagger runs low to avoid that madness on the bridge, but still..

Actually, I did brad's idea. The thing with the clouds, then I put random colliders in them. I put it up there. gorgefixed.zip

From just looking at it, the colliders look like they will work.

Good job with this one Derik, but you should still learn to shade and waypoint.

I can shade.. But polyworks went retarded with this map, and all shading does is make thigns change colour so I couldn't.

Yes, but not like blue or red randomly when I'm just trying to darken a point.
I know how to shade, look at my other maps..

And also, I've tried waypointing, and I don't have the patience :P
Plus, I never play offline so I don't need them. :)
