New computer says directx needs update?

Okay so I just got the new Macbook Pro and set it up to dual OS with vista, and whenever I try to open Soldat I get the error saying that I need direct 8 or higher when I ahve 10. I have tried changing the settings and dont seem to work. Has anyone else had this prob?

You'll need to run in compatability mode for WindowsXP, under administrator privilages; Soldat itself will need to run in video compatability mode. Ensure your video cardd rivers are up to date.
