Uhhhh, I'm pretty sure the registration is not linked in any way to your IP address. You just pay, he sends you the code, you put it in, and it makes your soldat a registered copy. Unless I'm totally wrong on this one, but I don't think so.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I know that the use of a registration key can be monitored, but it's not really 'linked'.
Also, a DSL connection does not necessarily mean that you have a dynamic IP address. I've had DSL for years and my IP has never changed because of 'reconfiguration in the connection'.
I believe the only one of your points that is actually correct is the third one, which is useful I guess.
