Maps and friends

Ok I created a map and then started up a server but whenever my friend tries to connect it just stays at "Requesting Server."" anhy  help please thanks

Forward your ports if you got a router, which you probably have. 23073 UDP, 23073 TCP and 23083 TCP. If you don't know how to forward them check out www.portforward.com.

I tried to forward the ports but my router isnt listed and the closest I could find does not have port forwarding on the website..
