Soldat over wireless (was: Ping)

@XavieX: Did you test your latency with Soldat 1.3.1? Is there any difference with 1.4.1? Also I'm curious to know about the name of your ISP (just out of curiosity).

I use wirless for soldat gaming. Get a belkin n1mimo wireless router and a card that matches and you will be fine. Untill I got the new card i had HUGE lag spikes, basicly burps in my wireless. The new n1 mimo setup works tons better for me, but its a bit mroe expensive.

I have wireless as well. In Soldat r/s I'm now knows as "The warper" >_>
Every 10 or 15 seconds my ping will jump from 50 to 180+, making me warp (usually it jumps to 300).
The spike only lasts maybe half a second, but it pisses a lot of people off in scrims. It also throws me off incredibly.
It never was like this when I first got it, then it progressed and got worse.
Any help?
EDIT: Come to think of it, the lag may have progressed when 1.4 came out... not for certain though...

Listening to this...I'm never buying wireless....ugh!
