Just modify the files with MS-Paint. And please, don't yell, you'll make most of us deaf before we hit 20.

Sounds from other games or made by yourself.
Graphics? Draw them by yourself.
Other stuff? Draw them by yourself.

That's the best method for a mod.

If you're really lazy and noobish you can just resize pictures of guns from google... but I've never done that.
