Actually I feel the same way about the football hype these days. When I look at my dad when he's talking to someone, he will mention the world cup, ask them if they saw the game.
Suddenly he's super interested (probably just because of Brazil... He has jumped on the wave of people saying "they're not football players, they're artists!)
And I never see my dad talk to others about football normally, when there is no world cup.
