All fires should be disabled. Look on youtube for real muzzle weapon's flash.

If you have photoshop(should work with GIMP) there is a transparency background. If you save your work as .png and add somewhat transparent colors then it will use transparency.

Ehh... I looked at some movies and I made realistic fires as they are. Maybe there should be system that with fires would be shown only in few shoots but it has no sense.
