Orgasmic Rectangles

Never hit record button, and look at those sexy rectangles, they make me so wet.


MP3 player goes on and on and on, and it doesn't play music at all, only that track keeps cumming up. More little hot rectangles too.


Can anyone tell me how to get rid of these STD's? I need them gone they really burn...

Wow... I can't see how tha bothers you really, I had to download a load of stuff to even see any text, so you should be happy you can see the text.

But my only advise is turning music off (that song might be too big), don't care about recording (or turn it off with F8 and make sure it's not auto-recording in the config) and then checking if all textfiles with weaponnames and such are saved in ANSI or Unicode.

Skate: Does this only happens when you start recording?
Also, you could try changing the fonts name in fonts.ini (in the \txt\ folder) and see if that fixes anything.
What OS are you running? This is probably a unicode issue.

@GluLm: Did you read all in my post? I actually posted suggestions, if you didn't notice.

And for a new suggestion. You could try downloading new drivers for graphics card and then checking fonts and stuff.
There has to be a problem with either graphic card (since that is what makes the text show up, and those rectangles are probably text) and/or text-files.

Thanks for the arrows, I wouldn't have noticed.
If you're running Windows 98 there's nothing I can do about it. Try video compatibility in setup, I don't remember if that fixes this.

Well, before Soldat would not work at all, then I changed the compatibility to 98/ME. So, that's why I get those sexy rectangles. When I un-check the setting "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Soldat won't work. Love/hate situation I suppose, oh well. Well, thanks guys.

I have the same problem. After every block of text tehre is a rectangle. Also the cursor for chat typing is a rectangle. I also did the compatability change because I would just get access violations otherwise.

MM wasn't referring to windows compatability setting, he was referring to Soldat's own video compatability setting. Try enabling that.

Try combinatons of both of the settings if anything doesn't work. I'm pretty sure this isn't an issue with drivers, sirius. Win98 has some problems with new version of soldat.

I have another idea, maybe your text files are old form another version of soldat. MAybe thats the deal? I'm actually shooting in the dark here...
