Ghost in the Shell 20mm autocannon

I wanted to make my FN Minimi sound more bassy and powerfull; so being a Ghost in the Shell fan, I have recorded the sound from that mecha's autocannon and I've used it as the Minimi fireing sound for a few weeks now. It's alot more satisfying ripping up Majors (no pun intended) with that bassy 20mm sound from my speakers.

Is anyone instrested in making the pixel art to fully turn the Minimi into the GitS autocannon?

That Youtube clip in my first post shows some good angles of the gun, including a side angle (that Slayer DZ has now screenshotted).

SD Film, can you cut out the last bullet fired so that the sound doesn't end so abruptly. IMO the end is a bit too quick.

I have an old game of Ghost in the shell. Really fun:D.

Anyway here is my version of the gun.
I had to improvise a little.
Otherwise it would look a bit boring.

I'd really like to see that! Athough I'm not sure how the Tachikomas would work in the Soldat engine; but the Mecha Mod has manged to put multiple-leg gostaks in, so a Tachikoma could work out as well.

I'm not that great at pixel art, but I could record quite a lot of tachikoma sounds. As for the weapons that appear in GitS, I'm sure there are plenty there for a full GitS mod.

Yes, though i'm not a fan. Never have, so i have no idea what i was using.
I strafed around the rooftops and shot everything, that had less than 6 legs.

PS: i think that purple haired techo-chick was in the intro aswell.

PSS: were BOTH of the bug things, the red one you use and the grey one, Fuchikomas?

If we go along with this mod, I could make up some interfaces or atleast the crosshairs for the mecha suit and the Tachikomas.

Very nice I think it looks too big/off-centre in the weapons menu, but other than that, it's a very good mod. I like how you put the magazine in the right place.
