But then you just forced your will on someone else. And this all started because you do not have the right to do that.

So you have the right to kill people as long as it doesn't effect anyone. Understand?

I'll admit, you caught me on a particularly...disgruntled evening.  Although I was confused of outsourcing vs. offshoring vs. whatever, I still don't agree with it.  Even though, for those who quoted me, I did state that I'm all about helping out people from other countries...just not at the expense of jobs in this country.

Why, you might ask?

Slightly different issue.  I hate the state of education in America.  Plain and simple, colleges are basically a bunch expensive day care centers (for the most part).  If there were enough people here with the skills and the drive to actually create a competative market (I thought that was part of the original goal?), there would be no need to ship this sort of stuff out to another country.  But alas...you can cite problems x, y, and z as to why whomever in another country is more suited to the job.  And I would, sadly, agree.  But I still don't agree with it.  Thus, my original point.

Well the fact is that this is how competition starts out, like you described.  We have lots of professionals in these fields here as well as unskilled phone-answering people, the fact is that India and other countries have a LOT more of them without jobs. 

I'm of the opinion that it'll all balance out quite well on its own within a few years.  While I agree that the state of public education in the US is not so great, I don't think that has much of anything to do with this.  The fact is that there are a LOT of people looking for jobs in other countries, and that therefore makes it much cheaper there/more copmetitive.
